It appeared, slowed down my start up to a crawl, shows up for the first 5 minutes of task manager (assuming I can open task manager), and then disappears after 5 minutes as if it was never a part of your system. CRAP

By Owen Cosby 2021-03-24 16:07:00 My Malwarebytes detected this file located in a WeChat folder. I have to use WeChat to talk with Chinese factories for work. WeChat attempted to update the WeChat software when Malwarebytes caught this file and quarantined it.

By McNeil Dsouza 2021-04-26 23:04:18 I found that courgette.exe is the originating process for WeChat updates. After a check, I found that SentinelOne classifies it as Generic Heuristic.
Also, found that the process which was quarantined is wcprobe.dll which was originated by courgette.exe at the path "C:ProgramDataTencentWeChatpatch2B11637F4ECFA18BE04D83FFD680D952wcprobe.dll" As it is a threat I did quarantine this file.

By Dennis Wilson 2021-12-23 06:44:18 I have 9 instances of courgette.exe that are detected by the Application Control in my Security Software. Scans do not list this as an issue however, I'd like to reduce unneccessary software if at all possible.
I don't use WeChat noted in the above dialogue.
All instances that I show, are located in my C:UsersDMWilsonAppDataLocalTemp folder.
Any insights would be appreciated.
