1. Remotely access and control you desktop from within the same network (LAN) or via the internet. You can control the desktop as if you are actually at the computer itself. Both keyboard and mouse can be used.
2. Remotely access files and folders from within the same network at the computer with DesktopNow installed or via the internet. You can both download and upload files to and from the computer with desktopNow installed.
Important: If you are the owner of the computer with desktopnow installed and you didn't install DesktopNow then find out if someone who accessed the computer did. If you can't find out who did or the person maybe a bad guy uninstall the program as it can be a major security threat as users within and even outside your network may have the ability to remotely control your computer and/or copy files from it.
If you installed it and wish to use in on an ongoing basis then it is highly advisable to use strong password protection and not tell anyone the password and email address.
