-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------By John Campbell 2014-05-03 20:01:27 I have three programs listed under Task Manager/Processes that I cannot find to remove from my laptop; Iehelper.exe*32, firefoxhelper.exe*32 and chromehelper.exe*32. They do not display when I select to change/remove programs through Control Panel. When I attempt to end them through Task Manager they immediately return to the list of active processes. They each continually increase their size as they operate. Their size reduces when have been terminated, but then continues to increase.
Display of their Properties shows that they can be found in C:Program Data/Rhelper folder. There is no such folder on the computer.
I have run current versions of Bitdefender virus and Microsoft Malicious Software Removal program with no indications that either have interacted with the three "helper" programs.
These processes (programs) are using memory and processing cycles without any apparent useful product.
Your instructions in this posting are of no use in removing the programs.
Where have I gone wrong here.
