I Received email from Noom.com - unsolicited offer to download apps. I always send these directly to 'spam'. This one, however, refuses to go. Instead, when you click on the button, a pop-up occurs asking if I want to 'unsubscribe' from their service. I will not click on a link in this popup.
So - second attempt: close the mail, and then, in my 'old mail' folder, click to select this email. Then click on without ever opening the mail = same result, a popup offering to unsubscribe. Very suspicious behavior - the 'hijacking' of my spam button!
Searching noom.com results in no entries in the APP store.
Going to Noom.com you see a fairly slick site, mostly in Korean.
===
So I spent 20 min searching around in Chrome Help to find a place to report this to Google - there is none. Chrome is like that - not really trying to help stop malware.
===
I have windows XP & use Chrome to browse.
===
Three questions then:
[1] is NOOM.com a legit site or phishery?
[2] how do I send this email to 'spam' in my Chrome?
[2] how do I manually alert the Chrome community of this malware-like email?
