ads that are dangerous and it cannot be normally deleted if this virus is freezing your pc all the time just do a system recovery by pressing F8 at startup and choose boot in safety mode and than recover it!

By Anthony 2014-01-24 01:03:30 I have encountered oxy.exe before, which actually destroys your browsers normal appearance, and then adds harmful ads and will change your main browser. The creators of oxy.exe actually make money (a very small amount) every time the virus harms you. To remove oxy.exe, I recommend you download MalwareBytes, which allows you to scan your pc for EVERY harmful virus, and allows you to delete them. It is free and it has helped me.

By Pat 2014-10-05 03:49:08 Try to download Norton Power Eraser. I don't know which ISP you have but I am with Time Warner Cable. There is a place on their website where you can download it for free. For those with other Internet providers maybe you might have to pay a fee. Anyway, the program appears to have removed oxy.exe (McAfee Antvirus didn't) and also fixed several registry errors. Good luck!
