I deleted the redirsvc and then it showed up as another program arcade something or other....short srory is you can remove and disable it in the tools and extensions section of firefox

By John Parry 2013-11-29 18:14:12 On browser pages I see some words in red and when I click on these links I note redirsvc.com appear in the address panel followed by spam adverts. In addition ads appear as pop-ups in the bottom right of my screen altho I am unsure if this is associated with the redirsvc but it all started at the same time just after I downloaded a trial version of Nero software. I have run AVG anti virus scan and also spybot search and destroy but these have not identified the problem. I have uninstalled Nero still have the same problem. The redirsvc is not present in the control panel remove programs area nor in the processes area of Winows Task Manager. I have Vista home on a HP laptop and I would appreciate any assistance in removing this pesky thing. I am not a computer whizz and I avoid messing around with registry entries if possile Thanks
