I too have noticed a "Project1" startup entry also a process called "KBLED.exe" on my windows 7 pc.
At first I thought it could be a virus or malware, but then realised that their appearance coincided with the installation of drivers for my recently purchased Gigabyte KM7580 wireless keyboard and mouse.
I think that the name of the process could refer to the Keyboard (KB) L.E.D. function of the keyboard which illuminates the led lamp when the batteries in the devices are low. This is just my opinion, but I hope it might throw some light on the matter.
